When I was young, I worked for a retired Army Colonel (WWI & WWII). He owned a Bait shop near Ft. Benjamin Harrison (Indianapolis). Customers and friends would give him unit patches when they came thru. His wife sewed them onto Army blankets that hung at the bait shop. These blankets covered 4 walls and the ceilings. Hundreds of unit patches. I served thousands of then current and former military folk. They often sat and talked with the Colonel for hours while I kept them in cigars, cigarettes and sodas.

Now, I begin my "blanket", 10/4/2016, with 2 patches from a customer serving active Navy.
I invite customers and friends to share their military patches here. Other country patches welcome!
Send a scan or image of your patch (or family member's patch) to PropBlur@gmail.com ---- subject line: UNIT PATCH.
I especially want to celebrate the diversity of the U.S. military - all the men and women serving in the different specialties at home and abroad.
Thank you, each and everyone, for your service to our awesome country. God bless you.
